Luxury bridal boutique and online store to launch in 2019

(Hong Kong, 4 June 2019) – This summer, internationally acclaimed bridal and evening wear designer Viola Chan launches a 2,000 square foot boutique in Hong Kong to showcase her brand, creating an unparalleled luxury shopping experience for brides-to-be and Hong Kong style mavens alike. 

Hailing from Hong Kong, Viola Chan is established as a global designer in bridal and evening wear design, with over 25 years in the industry and retailing at over 400 stores worldwide spanning Asia, Australia, Europe, South Africa and North and South America. In 2019, the Viola Chan brand comes full circle by setting foot in the Hong Kong market for the first time, introducing four exquisite fashion labels, ‘Viola Chan Premium’, ‘Viola Chan’, ‘VC by Viola Chan’ and ‘Oleg Cassini’. The four distinct lines feature a diverse selection of inimitable wedding and evening dresses.

Her collections are timeless, delicately handcrafted and ornamental. Inspired by the significance of the marital moment, Viola Chan commits to materialising each bride’s dream. Traditional motifs are combined with the latest global trends to create fashion-forward, one-of-a-kind designs that stand the test of time, in both the bridal and special occasion collections.

This sartorial vision is epitomised in the brand’s special occasion wear which is regularly worn by Hong Kong celebrities and including Kay Tse, Gillian Chung, Carol Cheng (Do Do), Joey Wong (JW), Sisley Choi and Miss Hong Kong (Miss Friendship 2018) Claudia Chan. International celebrity and influencer fans include Taylor Swift, Alina Boz, Eylül Öztürk, Victoria Şenel, Zeynep Zor, Miss Global Winner 2018 Sophia Ng and Juliette Louie, to name a few.

2019 will also see the launch of the Viola Chan online store for the Asia Pacific region, aiming to revolutionise the online-to-offline marketplace one special occasion at a time. The one-stop flagship online store will act as Hong Kong’s voice of authority on all things bridal. The site will feature ideas and partners for bridal and special occasion gowns, bridal accessories, flower girl dresses, luxury wedding car rental and wedding photographers, in addition to wellness and beauty solutions for soon-to-be-brides.

Prices for a Viola Chan bridal gown begin at HKD25,000 and evening gowns begin at  HKD15,000.
